Research Interests:

My research agenda assesses the role of public policy in influencing labour market outcomes. I have a particular interest in how immigration policy-for example, selection criteria or policies targeting illegal migration-affect the wages of individual migrants. Additional work has analyzed the role of US health care policy in workers' decisions about whether and how much to work as well as the role of gender in the promotion process.
